I’ll Keep This Short

Posted by djocean on July 30, 2008

I topped 3,500 people the other day. I’m blown away by the number of people visiting the site these days. I knew I would get some sort of following and that my numbers would increase with time, but I did not expect to do so well, so quickly. Whatever the reason for my success, I hope it continues and I promise to keep putting out good work.

Much respect people and much love. Thanks for taking your time and wasting a little of it with me.

Namaste.

Cheech & Chong Light Up Once Again

Posted by djocean on July 30, 2008

Two of my favorite comedians are finally back doing live comedy for the first time in 25 years. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong are finally going to hit the road again with there Cheech & Chong: Light Up America tour.

These guys are some of the funniest comedians on the planet and it was a sad day when they split. The pot-head laugh riots will hit up places such as Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Washington D.C, and Denver for their 22-city tour.

Marin made an astute observation during the press conference announcing the tour. “We’ve had the younger audience all along. Every time they get to that certain age, they go through that Cheech & Chong period of watching the movies, listening to the records. So, it’s almost like a right of passage,” said Marin.

So true. These guys aren’t spring chickens, but there humor still plays. I can’t wait to see them.
