Comic Book “War Heroes” Acquired By Sony’s Columbia Pictures

Mark Millar and Tony Harris’ comic book series War Heroes has been picked up by Columbia Pictures and should see the late of day within the next year. Led by “21″ producer Michael De Luca, this soon-to-be blockbuster film details the story of a group of soldiers with superpowers. Eventually the majority of the team goes bad and it is up to the one remaining super-soldier to stop the rouge team.
This sounds like a pretty bad-ass film in theory. Whether this one works will depend a lot on who they cast in the lead roles.
