Although I said I was done from Jersey, this story was worth posting before I left.
This is your wake up call people.
The Swiss government recently used Google Earth to spot a weed growing operation. They nailed 16 people and confiscated 1.2 tons of killer dank. This shouldn’t surprise readers as governments and police have been exploring new and cheaper ways to bust growers.
Although this kind of bust is not traditional, you can bet your ass that other governments, police forces and agencies like the DEA know about this tactic.

This is my last post of the week. I know I missed a few days, but I’ve been on the clock at Borgata and I’ve been pretty slammed. I finally fly home Friday and I can’t wait. Vegas here I come. I’ll be back in form next week, so make sure to come back Monday. Until then, peace, love, and U.N.I.T.Y. party people.

One of my favorite show is Hell’s Kitchen. I love Gordon Ramsay and the intensity/passion he brings to his trade. The guy is hilarious and he knows his stuff. This year the winner will get a spot at Borgata.
In addition to Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, Fox has signed a deal with the uber-chef to create his own cooking show. Unlike other shows that feature prepped food, Ramsay will take his viewers through making a three-course meal step-by-step.
Since I like to eat good food on the cheap, I’ll definitely DVR this one so I can refer to the episode when I want. The network thinks it might air in the spring or fall although it has declined to give a specific date for the initial episode.

U2 is apprently in discussions to buy this famous recording studio that has seen been graced by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Oasis, and of course most recently, the Irish rockers.
Used to record some of their latest record some of the new tracks on No Line to the Horizon, the band has decided to put in an offer to take over the financially troubled music hotspot.
This sounds like a great move for the band even though they already own a studio in Ireland.

This world is full of crazy shit and crazy people. Onething that helps me get through the day is meditating. Even though this is a serious challenge due to my rapidly churning mind, I try to find five minutes a day to sit in peace and let my thoughts slow down.
Why am I telling you this? Because Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder, Moby, Sheryl Crow, Donovan and Paul Horn are getting together to raise money for the David Lynch foundation. There goal is to teach 1 million kids to meditate. I can’t tell you how down with this I really am. This is a great cause and we need to support it.
The concert takes place at Radio City Music Hall on April 4th.

Kayne West has finally responded to 50 Cent’s latest verbal barrage in his track “Heartless Monster.”
According to Bossip.com, Kayne wants to part of this possible rap beef exclaiming that he is trying to bring people together instead of do things that divides them.
Kudos to Kayne for taking the higher road. It takes a real man to know a hater when they see one. 50’s attempt to start shit with Kayne appears to just be exactly that, an attempt jump-start his new CD sales.

I would like to send a special thanks and shout out to the people at Borgata. Yesterday they threw a media poker tournament that donated $10,000 to charity. They may not sound like much, but with money being a hard thing to come by these days, it is a great gesture from the A.C. casino.
Although it was rough sailing and I had to recover from losing most of my chip stack in the first level, I managed to finish second. That was good enough to to earn a $3,000 donation to the charity of my choice. I chose to donate to the Williams Syndrome Association.
It felt great to make the donation and I hope to be able to donate more money in the future. The only reason I played in this tournament (as I detest media tournaments due to the fact that they are sheer donkaments) was because I knew the money was going to charity. I’m happy that I could make this worthy charity some needed funds while I was on the clock.
Again, thanks to my boss, my team (who covered for me while I played) and the people at Borgata for making this happen.
