The Grateful Dead to Tour in 2009

The remaining members of the Grateful Dead have put aside their differences and have agreed to tour in 2009. Having tried this before several times with minor success, this full-fledged series of gig will see Warren Haynes play lead guitar (replacing the irreplaceable Jerry Garcia) and Jeff Chimenti will play keyboards (replacing numerous unlucky former Dead keyboardists that passed on).
Although I was always more of a Phish guy than a Deadhead, these guys still have what it takes to put on a good concert. I’m sure there are a lot of happy hippies out there right now. Getting a chance to see them play again will bring many a flashback for their fomer followers.
